About the Academy
The New Hampshire Emergency Services Explorer Training Academy is a week long residential education program consisting of both classroom and practical evolutions pertaining to both Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services.
Cadets 14-17 years old are exposed to the equipment used by and elements of the professional training programs used to certify both Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians.
Uniforms, room, and board are included within the cost of the program.
Cadets reside within the dormitories at the New Hampshire Fire Academy located in Concord, New Hampshire for the duration of the program.
Cadets do not need to be New Hampshire residents to attend.
2025 Academy
The 2025 academy will occur 6/21-6/28/2025 at the New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord, New Hampshire.
Applications for the 2025 academy are closed.
A waitlist application is available here.
Acceptance notification is anticipated by 4/15/2025. The total amount of tuition ($525.00) for the academy program is due within one week of acceptance.
The program must be notified of any financial hardship regarding tuition payment as soon as possible following acceptance.
